I just used copy to DVD for the 1st time this weekend. I have a a big problem. The discs i'be burned only seem to play in a few players... their burnt as dual layer discs with about 2 1/2 hours of footage on them. I went to my local TV shop and tried the discs on some of their players... i could only get it to work in about 1 in 10 of the players, sony, philips, pionner etc, etc, this discs work fine in my home Sony player but no others. I've burned the same project using Nero and the discs work fine in all the players i try.... i used the copy to DVD version from the media chance web site, i've noticed their is an update avalible to this version but does it really fix all the problems i've found with players ????? The discs i used are dual layer verbatims... any ideas please??? my burner is an NEC 3500 and my dvd software DVD Lab Pro.. copy to dvd verson is 3.0.29.48

Hi richardtknight Welcome to the forums. The new version of CopyToDVD is a recommended update and is known to have fixed several issues. I have no issues recording verbatim dual layer on my NEC 3500 so lets hope the update will help you too. Please let us know how you get on.

There are one of two places to check, the first would be the changelog included in the update or their website: http://www.vso-software.fr/download.htm if your not sure look under history.
