3 steps to put YouTube video to Windows Media Player:

1. get the URL, paste it here:
http://www.downvids.com
then you will get download link

2. rename the downloaded video with ".flv" extension, e.g. Car.flv

3. as Windows Media Player accepts AVI files
convert FLV to AVI

I got wondershare youtube downloader not long ago.
It allows me to download youtube video from the Internet.
What's more, it is also a pretty good youtube flv video converter which offers the solution from FLV to almost all other popular video formats such as avi, mpeg, mp4, wmv, mov, and so forth.
