I have an iPod that can take Videos (movies). I would like to know what software can convert these videos to my PC. I tried to copy one video to my PC but it could not recognized the file. Anyone can help about my desire to convert my files from iPod to my PC. Thanks

don't think your videos in iPod (probably synced from iTunes) can be converted to your PC. I has Xilisoft Video Converter and tried to this, but failed.

But I searched at others forum and found one software can transfer video and movies and music iPod takes from iTunes to PC, even from iPod back to iTunes. it's Xilisoft iPod Rip, and you can try.

yeah, Xilisoft iPod Rip hve successfully helped me to transfer computer local files to iPod no matter iTunes installed or not.Also,I have copied music, songs and video from iPod to local disk on PC.

yes, it is diffcult to convert the video on iPod for PC, I also tried some programs, I failed the same. But I found a program Moyea SWF to Video Converter can convert SWF files for my iPod and iPhone. This also helps me a lot.

But on smart phones we can install Xilisoft 3GP Video converter Wink

I use MelodyCan which can also convert video files of any kinds to commonly used iPod MPEG4 files (MP4)

thanks for your resources, and I'd like to try it some other time.

I know xilisoft mp4 converter can output all kinds of .mp4 format movies, but not all those .mp4 format videos are playable on iPods. but all other players that support .mp4 format will play those mp4 videos converted by this mp4 converter.
