Does anyone know how to convert a PAL DVD ? I just got a new Avril Lavigne CD+DVD . But the DVD is a PAL DVD . And My DVD player will not play it because my DVD player is a NTSC DVD player . Can anyone help me please ?

I just looked at the DVD . It's not a DVD at all It's a VCD that's what it is . It says on the CD That it's a PAL VCD

I would like to convert it to a avi or a mpg video file . Can anyone help me please ?

Is there any free programs to convert the video files . So I do not have to pay anything ?
