Hello, I generally use dvdshrink and put movies on the singlelayer disc. some new movies are over 2 1/2 hours long and don't back up well on those. I have some DL disc and can back them up to my HD with dvddecryptor, but I want to leave out the menu's(a step I usually do with dvdshrink, and it reauthor option, but I don't want to "shrink" these movies). What can I do(/use) to do this? thanks in advance, jb ps I have a new computer on the way, and was wondering if dvdshrink, dvddecryptor and dvd43 works with Vista?

Nevermind.... I think I figured it out.. Dvdshrink has in its preferences, what size disc you want to shrink it to and 8.5 is an option., so I should be able to re-author a larger movie without really shrinking it.. Still wondering on compat. of copy software and vista though.. thanks everybody

@whocarez

You shouldn't have any problems with Vista as long as you are running as administrator.
