Data Copies not readable

I just got the copytodvd version 3 with the 1clickDVD combo, and have not had much success in getting my PC to read the data copy. My Laptop reads it just fine. My lap top is new but my PC is older with a Samsung DVD-rom SD-616T and a CD-RW NR-9100A. Both of these drives will not read the information.

Actually they dont's even recognize that there is even a DVD in the drive at all. they should be compatible and this is just generic Data and Photo backup storage. DO I need to burn into the CD some sore of file so it will be readable to any PC? I thought this was an easy way to store my larger files, but I have tried for two days and My PC still won't recognize them. I know I have an older version and the manual available on the web page is for the latest version, which had more to it. Please Help

Hi,

I would see if there are any firmware updates for the drives not reading the disks.

If they are picky, maybe the fact of burning your disks at a slower speed would make them more readable, say burning at 4x instead of 8x, just a guess and maybe worth a try.
