Basically, I've got some home videos saved on DVD and want to break the whole DVD into segments and offer small snippets on a web site. So, I've got my DVD drive installed on the PC, but need some good advice on a program that will: - allow me to break up the video - separately save the audio into audio files - allow me to adjust the quality of the audio (like with an equalizer) - save the video in a bunch of different formats - add titles and descriptions to the video in the beginning at at intervals Your expert advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Alavan

Hi alavan. Just noticed your post. Your DVD will have MPG 2 files on it, you can use Adobe Prem pro for Editing, Encore for authoring, and if needed you can use audition for sound correction. It can be a steep learning curve but well worth the effort but you will have to capture to AVI files for editing. I myself use Ulead to capture files and Adobe for the rest of the process. Good luck. I'm not sure of all it's capabilities yet, but so far I am really thrilled with Uleads DVD Workshop. Out of all the DVD Authoring programs I have tried, it is hands down the easiest to work with. It also allows you to do what you want, not just conform to a generic template.
