| Basically, I've got some home videos saved on DVD and want to break the whole DVD into segments and offer small snippets on a web site. So, I've got my DVD drive installed on the PC, but need some good advice on a program that will: - allow me to break up the video - separately save the audio into audio files - allow me to adjust the quality of the audio (like with an equalizer) - save the video in a bunch of different formats - add titles and descriptions to the video in the beginning at at intervals Your expert advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Alavan |

| Hi alavan. Just noticed your post. Your DVD will have MPG 2 files on it, you can use Adobe Prem pro for Editing, Encore for authoring, and if needed you can use audition for sound correction. It can be a steep learning curve but well worth the effort but you will have to capture to AVI files for editing. I myself use Ulead to capture files and Adobe for the rest of the process. Good luck. | I'm not sure of all it's capabilities yet, but so far I am really thrilled with Uleads DVD Workshop. Out of all the DVD Authoring programs I have tried, it is hands down the easiest to work with. It also allows you to do what you want, not just conform to a generic template. |
