A Debgugger?

Would it be feasible simulate processing a DVD, but instead of the playback, you simply highlight the instruction/cell being executed next, so you could step through it (without playing the actual PGC content)? It seems to me this would help when doing scripting, as you could verify the effects of your changes before you export/burn, and would be less cumbersome than exporting and playing the movie. You'd still have to interact with the menus.

Indeed, a debugger is a verry usefull feature. Don't forget that we need the ability to initialize the SPRM values before launching the DVD. This will allow to test the DVD in various configurations.

@DimadSoft Is this feature still on "the do" list? Sometimes I realy could use this stuff, when I get stuck on some Post/Pre Command and I can't figure it out how it's gona react. Camino

Yes, it is on to do list. Actually that is the main thing we will focus on in next releases. May be not debugger itself, but some preliminary functionality needed to implement it later.
