Hello, Pls can someone tell me the settings I require so that I can keep adding to a dvd-r. I use to be able to do it but I changed something (I don't know what) and now I can write one thing and then the session is closed and it says the dvd has 0 space left. I have tried using a lower write speed and still nothing shows on the DVD. Is it that I now have the settings right and should try a new DVD or not else I will be going through them very quickly. In settings I have :- Create multisession - ticked If multimedia is inserted - that bit - I have the 3rd option selected - If there is enough space left, write the data and try to keep the media Keep volume names and description - ticked Import data with the exisiting rule - Always replace file... This is what the log says :- 08/09/2006 14:27:52 info ********** Report session closed *********** 08/09/2006 14:27:52 info Write completed 08/09/2006 14:27:52 info Average speed x0.17 Reference x1 = 1385.00 kbps 08/09/2006 14:27:52 info Total burning time 00:00:41.375 08/09/2006 14:27:09 info Starting write buffer 08/09/2006 14:27:09 info Starting to write... 08/09/2006 14:27:09 info Buffer under-run proof enabled 08/09/2006 14:27:09 info Init success: DVD-R packet writing 08/09/2006 14:27:08 info Writing speed requested x8.0, effective x6.0 08/09/2006 14:27:08 info Writing session #19 and keeping disc writable. 08/09/2006 14:27:08 info Open Image file "D:\Documents and Settings\User\Application Data\CopyToDvd\COPYTODVD_09082006_142708_562.cache" 08/09/2006 14:27:08 info Required sector size : 28256 08/09/2006 14:27:08 info Available sector size : 1475824 08/09/2006 14:27:08 info Available write speed: x8.0, x6.0, x4.0, x2.0 08/09/2006 14:27:08 info Media ID: TTG02 08/09/2006 14:27:08 info Multisession is enabled in filesystem 08/09/2006 14:27:05 info Blank or incomplete DVD 08/09/2006 14:27:05 info Detected media $0011: DVD-R 08/09/2006 14:27:05 info Finished browsing files - Data size 54.3 Mb. 08/09/2006 14:27:04 info Start Browsing file structures 08/09/2006 14:27:04 info IDE Controler manufacturer : (Standard IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers) 08/09/2006 14:27:04 info IDE Controler Description : Standard Dual Channel PCI IDE Controller 08/09/2006 14:27:04 info Supported Media: DVD-R, DVD-RW Seq., DVD-RW RO, DVD+R, DVD+RW, CD-R, CD-RW, DL DVD+R 08/09/2006 14:27:04 info Writing device used: 1:1:0 - _NEC DVD_RW ND-3520A 1.04 [F] (Ide) 08/09/2006 14:27:04 info Using Patin-Couffin driver Version 1.28, Internal revision 28 - Async. It's going to be an old one looking at the Patin version being used

I am told MultiSession is not supported in CopyToDVD for DVD(RW) media but will work on DVD-R and DVD+R media. I have an open bug / feature request so it will in the future. You can read about it here: http://bugs.vso-software.fr/view.php?id=311 VSO just released CopyToDVD v4.0.0.36 MultiSession works very well on CD-R(RW) media, but never tested it on DVD-R or DVD+R yet.

You are using real old firmware. NEC has jumped to the v3.x now. Latest for your burner is v3.07 http://www.de.nec.de/software/2324_FW_ND-3520A_307win.zip It might help supporting those new TTG02 media you are using, and may solve some multisession issues also, I know it can't hurt Idea
