Speedy sound after converting from AVI to DVD

Sometimes when i convert an AVI file to DVD the result becomes a bit strange. Normally it works just fine. But sometimes the sound plays at least 5 times normal speed. Sounds like Donald Duck And after about 15-20 min. the sound from the film has reached the end and the rest of the film is playing without any sound. Anyone out there with hints to help me correct this? Sometimes the sound is only a second or to out of sync, but read about it in another post and will try that. Thanx for the tip about AVI_MUX GUI. But I don't think that prog will help with my major problem, Donald Duck. Please help.... I'm using VSO DivXtoDVD
