I use CopyToDVD Manager to copy about 1GB of files from my PC to DVD. It is how I backup my key files although I don't use the backup scheduling capability. I have been using it for 6+ months generally with no problems. However occasionally, there is nothing written to the DVD even though the process seemed to complete without error. I figured I might be hitting "erase media" instead of "write", but I have carefully redone the "write" and ended up with nothing on the DVD. I could not see anything in the CopyToDVD log. I usually toss the DVD at that point assuming that I had reused it too many times. But I would have thought that I would have seen an error message of some kind. I have CopyToDVD 3.1.1.135 and CopyToDVD Manager 3.1.1.183. Can anyone tell me the error of my ways javascript:emoticon(' ') Smile? Cheers, Vern |

| Hi, Do you always use the same type/brand of media/DVDs? Do you use various types? Are you using DVD RWs? Is there a reason in particular for why you are not using the latest version 3.1.3, or were you just not aware of it? thanks |

| Hi Claire, Yup, using the same brand DVD (actually the same DVD) for say 15 or 20 times before it stops working without giving an error message. Yes, they are DVD RW's. Was not aware of the latest version. Will get it. Thanks, Vern |
