Please forgive me if this topic is already discussed somewhere else on the forum and point me to it. I'm new to this subject and I am thinking of creating a DVD for family as a Christmas gift. I have digital jpeg photos, some avi files and some mpeg2 files I would like to include on one DVD. Will this work? The software I currently have is Nero 6 and Ulead DVD MovieFactory 3.

Ulead DVDMovieFactory3 should be able to do that for you. It will convert your files into DVD-compliant material. Don't know the options of version 3, but my guess is you can do all you need with it fairly easy.
