| OK the very first time when I started making dvds ( back in about Feb ) I had this same problem, at that time I was using ULEAD DVD Studio. Problem was that the files would be in sync on the comp but out of sync when I tried it in the dvd player, then I was able to solve this problem by switching to Tmpgenc DVD Authorand that solved the problem. Earlier this week I did a fresh install of XP on this comp, installed the same version of TDA that I had been using before, authored a disc and it was out of sync, so I unchecked the option when you load the file where it says to reencode the audio to output format and still I get the same problem ( the first dvd I reencode the audio to output format of course ) So I tried a newer version of TDA and tried both options again and still the same error. Then I thought maybe somehow there is a conflict somewhere with my OS and TDA so I switched over to ULEAD DVD and its still out of sync. I've wasted a bunch of dvds already. Please Ideas people. |

| Are you making backups or new stuff or what? if its backing up stuff I think that DVDshrink was the first (free) softeare I found that usually works great. If not that then dvddecryptor(also free) work on even more disc. But they stay original size and you will still have to use dvd shrink to get a movie to fit on a single layer disc (4.5). hope some of this helps..jb |
