yes it was which i have been informed from VSO that I cant upgrade but as I said in the first post I have upgraded 3 times since novermber 2003 from version 2.3.12.239 then to 2.4.1.244 then 2.4.7.250 then to 2.4.17.269 so if that was OK why not version 3?

because the version 2 were just that updates, and allowed thru the third party application you purchased. CopytoDVD 3 is a complete upgrade and overhaul, you need to contact your third party application support and see what they plan on doing.

Yes, I agree, this stinks of something !! They have also told me that because I bought my version (Jan 04) from LG software innovations I cannot upgrade to version 3 !! What about the other 9 months left of the free upgrades? I'm quite sure VSO will not bother with earlier versions now their "premier" software has come out !! OH, and is it the same thing.... Course it is, it installs directly over original so why can't we upgrade ? Its got fiddle all over it Dazz

Hi, we are speaking about an agreement with LG innovation to let you have the version 3... LG innovation can already provide you a update for free. just contact them again.

why is it that you are speaking to LG innovation and not to other 3rd. party I got my version from Copydvdpro and I paid $39.99 from them only to find out a few days later that I could of got it direct from VSO for $29.99 so not only did I pay more for my version but now to rub salt into the wound you are saying that other 3rd. parties might be able to upgrade.Like I said in an earlier post I think it is a cop ouy BIG TIME

Sorry griffo, I was in the same boat as you, but after complaining to LG software by e-mail they have come to an agreement with VSO over the upgrades and have now sent out the registration program for version 3 ! This all happened this afternoon, after I started complaining! Hats off to LG for sorting it out ! All I can suggest is you (Like VSO state) get onto your 3rd party seller and pester them into reaching agreement with VSO, there is obviously movement between the companies over this, and there should be too!! So instead of holding dvdcopy pro responsible, which we have nothing to do with, you hold VSO responsible, I'm not trying to be harsh but copy2dvd has been around for a couple of years longer than dvdcopypro, maybe it would have been better too do a little more research? As you can see LG took care of their customers, now copytodvd pro needs to step up to the plate and take care of theirs. They are who you should hold responsible.

No I am not holding any body responsible, but what I am saying is that they let me update in the past but up until last night they where saying that they will not let me up date.I say up until last night because I opened my e-mail this morning and I had an e-mail from VSO customer care saying that I can upgrade and with an attachment with the key no. with it, so don't know why the change of heart but I am over the moon.So you will not hear me moaning on here any more about VSO instead I will be banging there drum. GREAT COMPANY VSO keep up the good work
