Hi, I'm new to this forum in the sense that this is my first post, but I've been using the forum for ages to get help and upto now you've answered any questions I may have had without needing to ask! Anyway, my question/problem is why has the option to verify a written disc been removed? When making backups, I used to find this a little extra safeguard which gave me a little peace of mind that all is well with the world. Well, with the disc anyway! I know it wasn't infallible and didn't do as thorough a job as 'Inspector' or similar apps do, but I kinda liked it! Also, as an aside, I use Directory Opus as my main file manager and have it so it replaces Explorer for all windows. (I heartily recommend it: http://www.gpsoft.com.au ) My 'problem' is I cannot drag'n'drop into CopyToDVD with it, which is a bit of a pain having to use the 'add files' option, which takes a little more time. Is this something that can be 'fixed' or is it a problem with D'Opus? Sorry if this has dragged on a bit. Thanks for listening and thanks for a great forum, keep up the good work! (What a kiss-a**!)

Hi there, To add multiple files to CopyToDVD, I use Windows Explorer... Select (Highlight) the wanted files, then do a <Right-Click> then select "CopyToDVD File Depot". Then when I start CopyToDVD, all files are loaded in my CopToDVD Project. Until a "File Manager" is added to CopyToDVD you will need to use Windows Explorer. You are right, Opus might not be supported. As for SafeGuard, I've never heard of it. But I do love VSO Inspector, does a nice sector by sector scan on my burned media ! You are right, it would be nice to be able to start Inspector automaticly after a burn, or some other kind of scan after burn feature ! Good Luck !

I believe your talking about the verify Blindwrite used to do before version 5 came out, you could have it verify the disc as soon as the writing was done. Alot of people have asked what happened to it, who knows maybe if enough people ask it may return, but they have to see the need for it, and they do peruse the forum here. Does Opus change the "shell" of windows explorer? If so then I doubt even depot will work, if not it's an option as stated by tabby.

Thanks for your replies guys - I never thought of using the depot feature - to be perfectly honest, I had never figured it out until now Embarassed Works like a charm! Mr. Green I guess I'll just have to wait and hope for the verify feature to be put back in.

Hello, CopyToDVD 4 - which is currently under development - will feature a built-in file browser, as well as the verify function (I dunno if it appeared in a 3.x release before, but if so this was a mistake on our side).
