|
|
| I am new to the this burning dvd's thing. I have 1click and copytodvd. I have copied over 40 movies using Sony DVD+R discs, but found a deal on some Verbatim DVD-R discs. I have 30 of them and they just won't copy. I keep getting a message that reads: Error: Media not found Please insert a writable media Required free space estimation: 3.11 Gb. This media doesn't have enough free space Is this a settings problem or will I not be able to use these discs?[/b] |

| Hi there, Please provide us with more information. What version are you using ? Can you provide us with a CopyToDVD LOG File ! You said you changed from DVD+R to DVD-R, does your burner support DVD-R ? Use VSO Inspector v1.1, it will tell you what burner you have, what firmware is on it, what your burner supports, and provide us the MEDIA ID of those disks. |

| Hi there, Your CopyToDVD is a little outdated. The latest version is v3.0.68 http://download.vso-software.fr/copytodvd3_setup.exe Also, download VSO Inspector v1.1 It will tell you what firmware is on your drive. EK24 is the latest I have found on the HP site. It will also tell you what features are supported by your drive. It will tell you if it can burn DVD+R and DVD-R or not ! Will also provide the MEDIA ID of those blanks ! |

| Hey thanks a lot! Just downloaded the new version and inspector. Found out that my burner will read the dvd-r but won't write them. This has been very helpful to me. Thanks a lot P.S. With my burner is there any way to make these dvd-r discs work? |

| Hi there, Using HACKED firmware might make your burner burn DVD-R but I never used hacked firmware before. What brand/model is your DVD Burner, and what firmware revision is on it ? Maybe with a firmware update (Official Firmware) maybe it will now support DVD-R ! |
