| I am trying to write a multisession DVD onto DVD+R media. The first thing I did was to have the "Import Existing Data with the following rule" clicked and "Always Replace File" Clicked. Now when I created the second session certain folders (about 7 levels deep), from the first session would disappear in Windows explorer (Windows XP). FIles and folders at a higher level would be OK! Using ISOBuster I could see that the files did exist in the second session, but I couldnt get at them from explorer. So I then unclicked the "Import Existing Data with the following rule" button. This time I could only see the data in the second session and nothing from the first. Is this a fault or is there something I am doing wrong? |

FIles and folders at a higher level would be OK! | I have done some testing of this and as yet have not been able to reproduce the problem. My test was 20 folders deep and each folder contained 16 images, all files/folders are there on the disc. | bmoynihan wrote: | | Using ISOBuster I could see that the files did exist in the second session, but I couldnt get at them from explorer. | This sounds like a multisession import problem, see below. | bmoynihan wrote: | | So I then unclicked the "Import Existing Data with the following rule" button. Open the CopyToDVD settings and click the "MultiSession" tab, set it as follows: *Create/Continue multisession media – Checked *Keep volume name and description – Checked *Import existing data with the following rule – Checked Change the import rule to: *Always replace file (use file in the selection) |
