Hello, i have been using DVDlab, but have a minor problem with it. I when i make a nice dvd, with a menu and all that, when you play an episode from the menu it runs all fine. You can pause, but if you stop, or fastforward, or skip scene, etc... it will go back ot menu. im not sure if its just an option im missing, but it only allows 1 button push during the play of an episode of a menu. And also i was wondering quickly what is one of the best dvd authoring appz for someone like me . Thanks for reading this i really appreciate any feedback alot!! |

Can you post a screenshot with your project's Connections pane showing? | mirmle wrote: | | And also i was wondering quickly what is one of the best dvd authoring appz for someone like me | Well, IMO, you are already using the best authoring program. DVD-Lab is very powerful and comprehensive, so there is a bit of a learning curve, but it's way easier than other programs with similar capabilities. It's menu creation ability is second to none. I suggest that you read the help file, there is a lot of good information there. The more projects that you do, the easier it gets. There are many other authoring programs that are easier to learn and use, but they are mostly just cheesy template-based programs that lack flexibility. I have authored hundreds of DVD's with DVD-Lab Pro, many of which I think are very professional-looking. |

| Thank you rubicat, for your help about the second question (and the reply came quickly which is great). But in regards the first about a screenshot of it, im very sorry but i have recently, and foolishly deleted the whole project, and therefore no shot. i appreciate your help, but ill tell you what i can, pending if you can give me an answer or not, thanks for your help. This project I was working on was a Season Four Family Guy disk. All the connections on it where made complete, every episode at a returning point back to Menu 1 (my only one). All the links were complete. The problem i have is when i put it into my machine when i select an episode it plays well. i can only pause it then resume it. if attempt to skip a scene, or fast forward, or visa versa rewind, it will return me back to Menu 1. I think there is an option i missed thet perhaps allows a certain amount of buttons to be pushed in an episode, but i am unable to find it. Or maybee theres somthing with my connections but i doubt it. If this can help you to give me an answer Great! But if not no worries. Thanks for everything. |

| Did you try it in another player or play it from your hard drive with a software player? If you send me the disc's IFO files, I'll look at them and see if I can determine whats going on. I'll send you a PM with an address to send them to. |
