Dimad, It was over a year ago now that I posted my original personal wish list. I just want to say how amazing the program is and thank you for your hard work in implementing not only so many of the feature that I ask for, but that all of the users here request. DVD editing has never been so easy. And now, for my updated wish list: Pipe Dream Catagory: -A graphical tree (think family tree) layout of the DVD structure, with lines connecting from buttons to the frames they link to, and the ability to relink the buttons by dragging and dropping the end of the line from the botton onto a new frame -A first play frame icon, displaying the frame of the video that is first played and the ability to drag and drop a different frame into the first play slot (I like to make my movies start with the movie, not the menu) -Wizard to walk through common, but complex tasks (ie, anything that requires a guide). So it would tell you to pick the appropriate VTS and it would do what ever, bla bla bla -DVD playback preview without export -Command by command DVD playback for troubleshooting Obtainable -set default audio graphically -set default sub-titles graphically Easily Implemented -Export to folder/VIDEO_TS -In batch mode do not add .drp the the export folder name A bit off focus -Add meta data ( http://www.cdr-zone.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2077 ) -Verbose drp files and faster project opening ( http://www.cdr-zone.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2653 ) -Use DRP on fly for original DVD playback ( http://www.cdr-zone.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2654 ) Thank you again |

Hmmm... Nice list. First thought after reading it - "We do like chalanges here at DimadSoft, don't we?". Items on your list make sense. We've already thought about "big ones" and will try to implement them eventually. |

| I would like to add another request/idea: Wizard scripting: would allow advanced users to design wizards for common but more complex tasks like skipping aspect ratio screens. By designing an architecture for end users to make the wizards it could open up the possibilities |

Now that 3.1 has settled down and working quite well.... How is the internal DVD player simulator and associated debugger coming along? Could you share a time frame with us? Keep up the good work.... Its all Good.... |
