There have been some recent posts that indicate that some users don't even realize that you can preview blocks with audio and/or subtitles. They don't know that they have to pick a stream in the Audio Tracks or SubPicture Tracks Panes for it to work. I think that it would be nice if there was a setting in Options to specify a preferred language. Then the first stream to match this language can be automatically selected for preview. If there is no stream that matches the selected language (or the language is unspecified), then the first available stream can be used as the default. Obviously the user can still select a different stream from the Audio Tracks Pane or SubPicture Tracks Pane, just as it is now.

I would argue that in order to give a better feel of the dvd setup, the default audio/sub of the dvd should be selected. Also, as per my wishlist, I would like to be able to easily select and set the default audio/sub on the dvd

The default audio for some discs is going to be player-dependant. Often the language that is used is determined by querying SPRM(16) in VM commands during initial play. I just think that DRM should select something by default, even if it's just the first stream of the first track.

As rubicat said, the default may be player dependant, but maybe a "move up/down" option would be cool.
