Help me ---> cannot write dvds

This all started on Thursday. I don't know what is happening. I currently use Memorex DVDs. I have been able to burn DVDs prior to this, but all of a sudden I cannot burn them anymore. All hardware and software is updated. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks a bunch P.S. Hi htdumbppl and welcome top our forums. It seems you may have a bad batch of media. Do you have any other brands you can try. Memorex dont make their own discs and quite often they can have a bad batch. I see from your log that the media Id is prodisc R04 which is unusual for memorex as they normally go with cmc magnetic dyes ( at least in Europe ) Please could you try a diiferent brand of media and see if the issue persists. If this does not solve the issue then the next step is to suspect the Liteon of having a bad write stratergy - you could try slowing the recording spoeed down to 12x and see if the issue persists.
