| Has anyone had this problem. I ruined about 12 dvds trying to burn after creating a project in dvd labpro. This first time i used it, it was fine. I tried to later burn the TS_Video file and it kept saying conflict with another application interfering or it would look like it was copying but two hours later no progression. I closed the antivirus software and the nvidia settings box and it copied fine. Is it a fluk or did it actually make a difference? |

| Hi videopro and welocome to our forum. What version of copytodvd are you using? there where reported issues with nortons antivirus quite a few months back ( I experienced this myself ) but I no longer use nortons ( I swapped to Nod32) and have not experienced any issues since. |

What was your procedure for resolving the issue? This could help a few ppl that may experience similar issues |

| I don't know exactly what i did that works but i will tell you what i did right before i made the succesful burn: I turned off my antivirus software, I turned off my nvidea monitoring, and where it say in copytodvd at the bottom writer selected i selected my dvd burner. Thats it. I also did a fresh reboot prior to all this. |

| If u have a spare rw media at some point it may be worth trying it with/without avg antivirus running to see if it is a conflict with your AV software. |

U tried this first with av on and it didnt work but you also had your nvidia monitor running. next you switched off the av and nvidia monitor anf it worked. So i was wondering if it was the av or nvidia monitor causing the issue |

| Problem solved. My system must not have been compatible with the sony dvd burners or the windows based drivers had a bug or something but i replaced it with a Pioneer dvr509 and it now works fine. I have made many successful burns. Thanks for everyones input on the matter and if Anton is reading this, thank you, He help me trouble shoot this matter when no one else knew what to do. |
