I posted a message a couple of days ago. Thinking i fixed the problem but evidently did not. I thought by turning off the the antivirus software and nvidia worked but it still does not work. I opened the video_ts file in windows media player and it plays fine i just can't get it to the dvd. Can someone help me? I just burned a music cd and it copied fine so it is not my dvd burner. I also tried burning with nero and it does the same thing. 1% of the burning process and 1 hour and 48 mins later it is still on one minute. I have projects i need to get out so please help

Hello, What else happens? I mean what are you selecting when using CopytoDVD (from VSO Starter---Copy Movie and Picture? then Write DVD Video?) then with the browser you cannot add the vob file? or you can, and then what happens? Is a burn even attempted? The last thread was about burning and your anitvirus and nvidea monitoring. If you managed to fix up those problems do you think they are still preventing you from writing? thanks

Well i just found out it was not the writer. I have no idea what it is. I can't explain it. I can view the files so they are not carrupted. I am lost.

Problem solved. My system must not have been compatible with the sony dvd burners or the windows based drivers had a bug or something but i replaced it with a Pioneer dvr509 and it now works fine. I have made many successful burns. Thanks for everyones input on the matter and if Anton is reading this, thank you, He help me trouble shoot this matter when no one else knew what to do.
