Hi, Would it be possible to just set the "first play PGC" and export ony the ifo's for time's sake? (or any project that does not require the editing of VOB's) I figure this could be done by saving the "new" ifo's in the source directory whilst creating a back-up folder for the originals. This would make the modified DVD instanly available to burn. I've used ifoedit in the past when I just wanted to jump to the main menu, but I've been spoiled by this program and don't want to work that hard anymore. =) Just changing the "First Play PGC" in your program has never failed me yet to start the DVD correctly! ( I assume the program traces the GPRM's) I also wonder if it would be possible to automate this function as a 1 click sollution if that is all you intend to do. On a side note, I just want to thank the author for an incredible program. I spent over a year trying out almost every other DVD software out there, easily more than 30 programs/trials, before I stumbled on this program. Now I can't remember the last time I opened any of them to do anything. Having an extemely intuitive advanced editor has been invaluable. Thank You! Eidolen

Version 3 of DvdReMake has an "Export modified files" function in the File menu. If all you changed was VM commands, then only IFO's an BUP's are exported to a specified folder. The all you have to do is replace the source IFO's with these before burning (you could make backups first).

You've been lucky. DvdReMake does not trace the GPRM's. Sometimes just changing FirstPlay works, and sometimes it doesn't, it just depends on how the DVD was authored.

There is a trace/debugger function that is in the works for a future release. Currently, in version 3, you can use the "Open destination" function to perform sort of a manual trace, but you have to keep track of the GPRM's and SPRM's yourself.

I couldn't agree with you more! DvdReMake is one of a kind, and is simply the best DVD editing program available! Smile

Thank you for the speedy reply. You just made me a very happy man. Very Happy I just upgraded recently from version 2.23 and still haven't figured out all the new features. This program has been updated at such a break neck speed lately it's hard to keep up. In any case I apologize for not investigating further before posting. Maybe sometime after the trace feature is released, a feature could be added via a right click menu to "start the disc here" as you are stepping through the disc, or any feature that will allow you to set the start point acurately. If it's just been dumb luck that it's worked for me so many times, I'm sure it will bite me in the a** soon enough. Shocked If I could pick one other feature it would be a player built in that I could check my structure with so I didn't have to jump out to PowerDVD on every export. Alternatively, If there was a way to pass commands to a player of your preference. (ie. a tick mark to "open exported movie in default player") Either would be a huge time saver. Once again. thank you for the great product and awesome support. Eidolen
