I have not done a lot of copying (only shrinking a regular DVD and copying it to a blank DVD) so I'm not up to speed on all the terms and processes, but I have recently downloaded a couple of .avi and .mpeg files, but I cannot figure out how to copy them as a video DVD as the CopytoDVD programme needs a video_TS.ifo file to produce a playable DVD. Can anyone offer some advice please? (pleasse, please, please!) I am using DVD Shrink Beta 3, and CopytoDVD 2.4.11.253. |

| Hi and welcome to the forum thomaskerrya. you will need reauthoring software and a couple of hrs of reading of guides to fulfil that perticular problem, as CopyToDVD does not reauthor. Please check out http://www.dvd-guides.com/ for Afonics excellent Guides on how to achieve this. I am moving this to the relevant forum too:) Good luck and please let us know how you got on. Note: I do hope the downloaded files where your own Wedding films etc, as we never condone the use of illegal downloading here:) |

Thank you very very much for your help, it has been invaluable. No other sites would help me, but you have, and I am extrememly grateful. I have ordered DVD X Maker so I can copy my home mpeg files onto DVD. I understand heaps more about the whole process now too, so don't feel quite such an ejit! |
