I am new to the software. I want to create a DVD that has "chapters" so I can jump directly to these locations using my stand alone DVD player. How can I accomplish this with CopyTo DVD or is this something that needs to be done in a video editing program? (I have Video Factory which came with my external DVD burner.) Thanks. Jerry

Hello, If you want chapter on your DVD, well, it all depend on what you are starting from. I mean is it a back up of a real DVD Video that you own, is it a video that orginates from you camcorder, or is it a video file that is in a format such as avi, divx, etc. DVD movies when copied onto a harddrive retain their original chapter marks. If any video already has preselected chapter setting they should remain, thus after burning and while playing these chapter marks should work for you. If the film needs to be converted into a VOB to be readable on a dvd from your living room player you can convert the file using DivxToDVD 2 and generated the chapter you would like with this software. To properly respond, reply to this thread with where this movie/video file or other you would like to burn orginates from. thanks
