Sure they do when someone see's it, this is the weekend and not alot of people check on the weekend. If you've burned 9 coasters in a row, what about your media? In your logs you also have some succesfful burns, what have you changed since then? Make sure your firmware is up to date Make sure you are using recommended media Make sure you chipset drivers are current Slow down your burn Your logs clearly show that the errors started when you switched media, so look at that first and formost. Failures: 6/23/2005 9:29:06 AM info Media ID: CMC MAG. AE1 6/22/2005 2:51:57 PM info Media ID: CMC MAG. AE1 6/22/2005 10:35:30 AM info Media ID: CMC MAG. AE1 6/22/2005 9:07:12 AM info Media ID: CMC MAG. AE1 6/22/2005 8:50:53 AM info Media ID: CMC MAG. AE1 6/22/2005 8:47:30 AM info Media ID: CMC MAG. AE1 6/21/2005 2:26:16 PM info Media ID: CMC MAG. AE1 Success: 5/28/2005 8:22:20 AM info Media ID: CMC MAG-E01-00 5/27/2005 2:23:10 PM info Media ID: CMC MAG-E01-00 Yours is more or less a generic error that could be anyone of what you need to check. And please do not make three seperate threads for the same problem again.

Hi Fryman and welcome to our forums. Weeknds can be hetic here at zone with moderators and respected forum members/developers having a well earned rest Smile I'm normally about but due to the hot UK weather the wifes been having me put up gazebos in the garden ( oh the joy ! ) What brand of media are you trying to record with the CMCMAG.AE1 mid code? Some brands can be very good and some can be very bad..... Latest firmware for the LG 4120B is A116 which means you are running a very old firmware. Maybe this latest firmware will add better support for CMCMAG.AE1 and it is recommended to update to the latets firmware for the latest and best media support. Please make sure that you have DMA enabled for your IDE controllers after a firmware update. Please check this very informative explanation of how to check your dma settings Here Let us know if this helps please.

Media refers to the actual disk you are using to burn the files/data/movie too.
