I've got an NEC ND1300a multi format drive. DVDXCopy and Nero 6.3 have no problems writing to DVD+RW media, but CopyToDVD keeps rejecting DVD+RW media. It will take DVD-R just fine though.

I had that problem myself with an earlier version and reported to the VSO guys.....,they're probably working on a solution,as they take their customers very serious.Smile PS:you can sent your logfile to them,so they can investigate what went wrong.

What version of CopyToDVD are you using to get these errors? a new version has been released that has fixed most of these issues.

Upgraded from 16 to 17 over the w/e because +rw not being recognised resulted in the same problem. Following numberous emails with logs ext. and online help told to load 2.4.2 .......which solved the media recognition problem .....although it didnt solve the -rw overwrite problem Problem is now that it wont/cant append files to +rw it will only format the whole disc first before writing Media is all on the approved list and firmware all the latest however drive is a the new 8 times nec nd2500a which vso say they need to get their hands on So they need to another rethink I just hope they tell me when they get a fix for my problem

an rw will not do multi-session, at least not yet, if you want to do multi-session you will have to use a dvd/cdr

yes but feedback from various people suggests that this will only work with a cd not a dvd

OK understood but after formatting you should be able to drag and drop onto a +RW with packet writing??
