It's been almost a year since I got a new PC, and changed up my CompID on my account; D/l'ed version 3.5.3 and been operating ever since.

But d/l'ed new 3.6.2 (under the correct CompID), but on trying to install, it says 'wrong computer', ect. Tried d/l again. Same result.

Why is this not working? Why is there no email on the site to report such errors in their system? Yes, I re-checked the CompID (with the small utility I got a year ago!), and it reports the same ID that's in my account!

Again, why is there no email to send on the site to report such nonsense?

Try downloading the demo and run it and see it matches the CompID on your account. You can also email your problem to dvdremake at dimadsoft dot com, with reference to this thread and also include your Dimadsoft username and the problem CompID.

Already tried that. But, why isn't the tech support email listed somewhere on their site? I searched and searched and searched and .... nothing. The email went, now to see if it doesn't get 'bounced' and they have any ideas as to why the d/l doesn't want to install.

Their email is listed on the site. Click on the Contacts link at top and you get this: http://www.dimadsoft.com/contact.php

Did you try to run the demo? What does the message say? Could it be a case of mistaken letter O or zero 0, or something similar in the CompID?

I'm sorry, but you are totally incorrect; there is no link on the site whatsoever that gives a email address, the 'links' go around in a circle giving nothing, in addition that url you posted; NOTHING!

The address that a previous person suggested bounced back, it's NO GOOD.

So, I'm still at the beginning; Again, I registered/bought the program several years ago, and got a new PC a year ago; getting the pgm with the new CompID worked perfectly, and I've been using it vr. 3.5.3 ever since.

Trying to get the newest version, and the CompID is still registered (or so the d/l page says); after I d/l it and try to install, it comes up and says 'computer ID incorrect' or some such. So I'm stumped; The site has the correct ID, yet packs up the pgm wrong!

Again, still no email address that works. And no place on the site gives a phone or email address whatsoever.

Click on the link again with the period after the link removed. I edited my previous post to delete that period. It should bring you to the Contacts page. The email address works just fine. Did you get bounced back mail?

You still haven't answered my previous question. Does the demo work? Same CompID? You could try delete the CompID in your account and reenter again (Copy & Paste). Otherwise, just wait to get a response from Dimad. He's probably busy lately.

Hi, BECK38. Just to be sure. Are you running under Win OS and not under MAC with some WIN emulator?

There were couple reported cases so far when downloaded program (v3) complained about wrong Comp ID. In all cases it was due to incorrectly typed Computer ID. Make sure you copy and paste it. The most common typos are having 8 and B or 0 and O interchanged.

No. Win2k, won't run anything else.

Again, the CompID was changed up over a year ago, and worked then. On the d/l page, one (apparently) has the ability to 're-use' that ID in the next d/l (unless I'm reading that wrong, but it appears so clean-cut), and I get the 'wrong computer' message when trying to install it. No 'wrong typing', as that 'new' ID was input over a year ago, and the resultant d/l installed just fine and has been working ever since.

Do I have to 're-enter' the compID yet again, although what the d/l page has IS the compID I entered over a year ago? This is the big question, and maybe something is wrong with the computer generating the package up for d/l....

Just to be sure, copy the Computer ID shown in "Wrong ID window" and paste on download page to get a new copy of the program.
