Hi there,

upgrade to v4.0.3 and try again.

Those SONY media should be good quality so burning them at 6x should be ok.

I would suggest burning them slower to test, but your burner doesn't support a slower burn for those media.

Ahhhh just noticed your running VISTA !

I would definitly try the latest v4.0.3

VISTA is still pretty new, I have read some people having success with a certain drive on XP, then issues with the same drive, same software, same media on VISTA.

I have not even seen vista yet, so I can't say much about it !

My 2 cents...

Hello again,

Seems you have a Dell PC, and this SONY Burner is probably an OEM.

Here's some reading materiel from other people:

Visit http://support.dell.com and make sure you have all the latest drivers (VISTA) for your burner etc...

If you have that SONIC DLA (Direct Letter Access) this causes more issues than pleasure. I use VSO Sofware, I got rid of all this SONIC (Garbage) when I bought my Dimension 8400 a few years back.
