I have a Sony DW-Q28A dvd drive i picked up from ZipZoomFly.com i was wondering if anyone may know where i could grab the firmware upgrade if there even is one. i know that this is a OEM drive and there usually aint bu tany help woudl be appreciated. i also have a DW-Q26 in one of my other comps. thanks

Hi there, Grab the latest available firmware here: http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?category=4&manufactor=30 Those Sony OEM are the worse I have even seen to find firmware for them ! Just for that reason, I am keeping away from them. I have a friend stuck in the same situation, just can't find the latest firmware for his. Something like JYS3 is available and all we can find is the JYS2 etc...
