|
|
Hi,
Are we ever going to see the copy/ paste whole menu block command implemented... I recall this being promised a while ago...!! The Ctr+C..(Ctrl+Shift+C...Ctrl+Shift+C) is very clunky for big menus and doesn't copy special menu info (e.g. 'root', 'audio' menu PGC info).
All this work with the simulator is great in theory... but I heardly ever need this as the DVD control instructions are so basic... Please can we have some more work on the basic interface!!
Thanks again for all your hard work on this excellent piece of software...

| Not sure I understand. There's already a 'Copy PGC' (Ctrl-C), 'Add copied PGCs' available which copies the whole block. You cannot duplicate menu category, there can be only one in the menu domain. |

Say you compress the menus of a DVD using NuMenu4U (as an example). Then you would want to be able to:
1) Delete old menu PGCs
2) Copy new menu PGCs in to copy buffer (must be pasted in as one to maintain consistency between PGC calls)
This involves CTRL+C (new) menu PGC 001
CTRL+SHIFT+C (new) menu PGC 002
...
CTRL+SHIFT+C (new) menu PGC nnn (can 100+ for Simpsons, etc. - really tedious!!)
3) Append copied PGCs into empty old menu
I would like to see (2) wrapped up in a copy menu PGCs command that would do all that for me... It would help if
states like 'root' , 'audio', 'subtitle' were remembered if the PGCs are pasted back into a menu domain (just overriding existing
settings in the menu being pasted into would be fine I am sure)... A complentary command to copy all the blocks in a Program Chain into
the copy buffer would also be useful.
Does that make sense?
Thanks,
