| Hi all, I have a XVID avi with no subtitles that I would like to show to my old mom on her widescreen TV. She has a DVD player but no computer and she does need subtitles. So I downloaded the subtitles and vobsub, converted the now subtitled avi to DVD format (vob files and so on) using WinAvi video converter. When I start playing the resulting DVD on my computer it looks great at first. The subtitles are there, they're synchrone, everything runs smoothly until it suddenly crashes. Error signature Mod Name wfvdc.ax Mod Ver 3.5.0.2104 Offset 00018b8a This is the error signature I received the last time I tried with DivX player, but I tried with several other video players as well. Strangest is that every time I try, it crashes on a different moment, sometimes 2 or 3 seconds from start, sometimes up to 2 or 3 minutes but I've not yet been able to view this video more than 5 minutes. I did watch both the un-subtitled xvid and the subtitled one several times with no problems. The only thing I changed was the intallation of vobsub so I uninstalled that to be on the safe side but that didn't solve it either. I'm still able to play other DVD's, so it looks like just that one video is corrupted. Any ideas how I should create a playable disk? Fortunately I didn't delete the original avi and srt files |
