However, I just think it is simpler to change the enrty point of the cell 1 of the PGC to match the starting chapter of disc 2.
How do you do this with DVDRM? (I think I'm allergic to IFOEdit) [edit: I also wouldn't mind substituting a splitting guide for weird multiPGC movies. It seems trivial to me now with this proggy, but it was the bane of my existance for months - DVDFab wasn't up to the task, and still isn't really. Wrote it up as a thread in another forum, but it could stand some updating what with the new functionality. Is this cool? Is there some kind of protocol to observe in submitting a guide? Would just like to help out in some way.]

djelimon to submit a guide simply either place a link to it in the guides section of DRM forum or email either dimad or myself.

Yes, but what kederikin is proposed is more generic. Entering PGC through first chapter is not the only way, so as a very list you will need to change all chapters. Even then it is possible to enter PGC from another PGC directly without chapters. Although this does not seems to be used often, so fixing title chapters will work most of the time. Smile

It would have been to simple just to let users change numbers in titles (like with IfoEdit) to change chapter links Smile This is one of the current design decisions we are trying to make. Shell we allow such "free" editing or it should be "restrictive" to allow only valid entries. Like with editing PGC cell attributes - user can select cell comand # only within available cell commands. Although, if someone will delete cell command after that cell command # may become invalid. Shell we disable such deletions? Or just implement "check disk" routin which will check and report bad links? Any suggestions?

A validation routine to automatically run before changes are comitted might not be a bad idea, maybe a dual-mode solution wherin you have restricted and advanced editing options. What would make it really useful would be meaningful diagnostics. But that could be a lot of work.

A new guide by Sophia is added to DvdReMake "guides" page. Sophia, thanks a lot for the guide, and sorry for delay posting it. Smile There is one more guide submitted by Mirx: "Tutorial making custom subtitle menu". Very nice but long guide which involves quite a few programs, at the moment (due to ver 2) we don't have time to convert to HTML. But it will see the light some time. Smile
