Hi all,

DvdReMake allows us to add an Call VMG PGC command with the resume cell # set to 0. PgcEdit complains about this value, saying it's an illegal value.

According to here i also can't generate this command: http://www.dvd-replica.com/DVD/callss.php?p=1

Would it not be better to set the resume cell # to 1 by default?

Yes, better safe than sorry. But I don't know if the player really looks at this part of command. Have your dvd players stop working if it is 0?

I have not tested but i don't think it's a big issue, just against the standard.

I've left it at 0 before and not had any issues on my players.

It could be that only certain players would check it?

I had the same issues with Pgcedit when "tracing" to a selected "first play upon dvd insert". When I e.g want it to jump strait to main menu on dvd's. When tracing with Pcdedit and it reached the command Call VMG PGC Resume cell 0 it gave me an error telling me it was an illegal command, and tracing stopped. I've had this error lots of times and I started to automaticly change it to Call VMG PGC Resume cell 1. After doing so it accepted it and tracing continiued. Actually you can just doubble click on the illegal (red) command and Pgcedit automaticly changes it to Call VMG PGC Resume cell 1.
Don't know if not leaving the Resume cell to 0 would cause playback problems. But the fact is that tracing stops if not changed, and I therefore do it all the time
